JuzaAfrica is
opening applications for the 2021 Teach4Africa training workshop designed
towards building the technological and digital capacity of students and
learners in Africa. The training will be in phases and the first phase will
start in January 2021.This training will initially target 100 teachers from
primary schools in Kenya.
The training aims at providing practical ideas and digital tools for
instructors who recognize the ever-increasing need for learners to develop
digital literacy skills. In doing so, we hope to increase learning outcomes in
Kenya through digitally inspired solutions, by ensuring that every child has
access to quality education, serving to bridge the gap where inequality exists
and changing a child’s awareness of the world. Successful applicants will be
taken through intensive training on:
1. Understanding
Digital Literacy
2. Integrating
Digital Literacy tools into Instruction
3. Evaluating
Learners Outcomes
4. Making money and
opportunities online
